Puller Flow

This diagram shows the journey of pulling existing content from external platforms into your repository.

Process Steps​

1. Setup​

  • Configure API key for your source platform
  • Store credentials in .env file
  • One-time setup per platform

2. Content Discovery​

  • List available articles from the platform
  • Filter by publication date if needed
  • Choose to include or exclude drafts
  • Review what's available before pulling

3. Content Pulling​

  • Preview with dry-run mode first
  • Skip already-pulled articles automatically
  • Force re-download if updates are needed
  • Process all matching articles

4. Output​

  • Each article becomes a Markdown file
  • Frontmatter includes title, date, tags, and status
  • State file tracks what's been pulled
  • Content is ready for the SocialsBase workflow
